I feel like a lone wolf and don't know how to communicate with the team and my boss.
The pandemic has changed everyday working life for many. Working from home is still commonplace even after the restrictions have been lifted. However, the distance to the team harbours dangers: Declining work motivation, insecurity and arbitrariness are spreading. You can no longer really get to people - sickness rates are rising.
Background
If you want to lead well, you have to be close to your people. People want to be perceived as people. This keeps motivation high even at a distance. However, this can only be achieved through genuine interest in the person.
Antidote
Ask: "How are you?" But only if you really want to hear the answer. No matter what: listen - because listening to each other creates closeness.
